Duterte: What You See is What You Get- Yet You Don't Get It!

Read between the lines, think out of the box and look into content.. because President-elect Digong Duterte will neither toe the crooked or ambiguous line, fit into a corrupt design, nor sweet talk when things are actually going crazy!


We all want change. Change that will tell us the glaring realities of our country and our people’s existence then do our best in bringing back humanity to it all.

Change that will make urban and city dwellers feel safe, healthy and truly happy by establishing egalitarian access to finances and other resources.

Change that will focus on rural development to show the youth how rewarding it is  to come back to the provinces and be a part of their development as secure and bountiful places under the sun.

How to drive home these points and restart national and local development as possible once more? Incoming President Duterte uses an all-time proven strategy in the development profession: Start where the people are.

Use of street language, having a foul-mouth, uttering insulting words- NOT Presidential at all. But how else to express dismay at government leaders and officials enriching themselves with people’s hard-earned money? What words to find expressing anger at drug lords permeating the cities and countryside with illegal drug sale and use and developing addiction among schoolchildren and university students? One could go on and on then realize not being “word-presidential” this time means being the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines. At least for the MEAN times.
